In-Office Assistant Training
An Peak staff member will meet with the dentist and employee and individualize a training program that will fulfill your needs.
Our staff person then begins a mirroring training program that allows the employee to observe, perform, and be evaluated on each step of training.
This system keeps the office working with normal scheduling, enables the new employee to work in the dental environment, and offers the employer the opportunity to have direct input into training.
The program runs for a minimum of three weeks and includes:
- Chairside procedures: restorative, endodontic, crown & bridge
- Sterilization and disinfection procedures: infection control, hazard communication, waste management
- Dental terminology, instrument identification
- Chairside assisting: instrument transfer, suction placement, positioning
- Basic lab procedures
